The Satellite Analysis Branch will no longer produce manual Dvorak estimates in the South Indian Ocean (west of 135E longitude) as of July 1, 2025. These estimates have been disseminated under WMO headers TXXS20 KNES through TXXS29 KNES. Users are referred to Dvorak estimates issued variously by Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre (RSMC) La Reunion, the Bureau of Meteorology's Tropical Cyclone Warning Centres (TCWCs) in Perth and Darwin and the Joint Typhoon Warning Center.
