REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located approximately 21.66 NM SE of St Malo, LA. The anomaly measured 1.97 NM in length and 1.07 NM in width. Winds were 10 kts out of the NW.

Confidence that the anomaly seen was oil is Medium-High. The anomaly had high contrast with the surrounding area, sharp well defined edges, and exhibited a silvery sheen in certain areas indicating the presence of thicker oil.

UNCERTAINTIES:
No point source could be determined and the anomaly was located close to shore.
