REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was dark in contrast and appeared out of place in the surrounding environment. The slick measured approximately 15.5 NM in length and 0.26 NM in width at the widest point.  The anomaly likely originated from the Destroyed Taylor Platform, a known repeated leak source. Winds at the time of image were approximately 7 kts from the south.  Due to the slick's proximity to a known repeated leak source, confidence for this report is High.
