REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was in the Main Pass area off the Louisiana coast and likely related to Hotline 10952 and ORR NRC 1428278, both issued 10 April, as well as multiple NOAA NRC including 1428091, issued 8 April. The possible oil measured 1.8 NM long and .3 NM at its widest. The anomaly stood out against the surrounding environment with patches of bright silver sheen, indicating possible thicker oil concentrated near the suspected well source. Winds were 5 kts from the west.

UNCERTAINTIES: The extent of the possible oil in this report was limited to the image footprint and a best estimate considering possible false positives in the area.
