REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was believed to be emanating from an oil facility. It was approximately 3.8 nm long, approx. 0.04 nm at its widest and had strong contrast with the surrounding water. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the Southeast at 10 kts. It is for these reasons that Confidence for this report is High.
