REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The fragmented slick was visibly connected to a specific oil facility/infrastructure. As a whole, the slicks spanned over approximately 1.88 nm long and approx. 0.06 nm wide. The fragments did not test positive for vegetation. It had light to moderate contrast against the ocean background and was sufficiently distinguishable from natural phenomena/seeps in the vicinity. Each fragment had a white/shimmery center which indicated the presence of relatively thicker oil. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the SE at 8 kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: The full extent of the slick was difficult to determine due to its low-moderate contrast against its surroundings and cloud (and its shadows) coverage in the area.
