REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was approximately 1.6 NM long and .5 NM and appeared connected to the repeat leak source, Wreck 1487, off the coast of Nantucket. The anomaly was dark against the background environment and appeared out of place. Winds at the time were 15 kn from the north.

UNCERTAINTIES: It is possible the full extent may be greater than pictured. A dark shadow extended to the south of the anomaly but as it was relatively faint it was not included in this report.
