This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located in the Main Pass area off the Louisiana coast. The anomaly was broad and feathered to the southeast, measuring approximately .8 NM long and .4 NM wide. The anomaly stood out against the background environment being dark with a silvery patch indicating thicker oil. Winds were from southeast at 13 kn. UNCERTAINTIES: A point source could not be determined but there were multiple wells and pipelines in the vicinity.
