REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil.  The slick extended across 9.2 NM in length and 0.17 NM in width at the widest point. The anomaly had strong contrast and appeared out of place in the surrounding environment. Winds at the time of the image were approximately 13 kts from the SE.

UNCERTAINTIES: Although there was a nearby oil facility, there was no clear evidence on the source of the anomaly. The slick did not have evidence of thick oil or appear shimmery. Due to these reasons, confidence level was Medium.
