REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was approximately 4.2 NM long and 1 NM across at its widest, located in the South Pass area and Garden Island Bay. The anomaly was possibly related to NOAA ResponseLink Hotline 10964, an ongoing wellhead leak identified as the point source in this report. Winds were from SE at 11 kn.

UNCERTAINTIES: There are false positives prevalent in the area, but due to the hotline and ongoing response efforts, the confidence level was raised to Med-High in favor of reporting and the possible oil extent was conservatively estimated.
